A tweet from Matt Cutts today announced the latest variant of the well established series of algorithm changes – the Google Penguin updates.
The tweet offers little other information other than about 1% of searches will be affected – much less than the Google Penguin 2.0 update which saw closer to 2.5% of search queries changing.
Google have now released 5 Penguin tagged updates, beginning back in April 2012 – with 2 changes to the first Penguin algorithm before 2.0 was rolled out.
The latest update has been penned the Google Penguin 5 by some SEO’s.
