SEO Works Win Best B2C Campaign at Drum Search Awards

The SEO Works are pleased to announce that we won the Best B2C SEO Campaign category at the inaugural Drum Search Awards for our work with Patient.co.uk.
The Awards, sponsored by Google, Bing, Yahoo and the Recommended Agencies Register, were hosted by The Drum to promote awareness of the great things the forerunners in the Search industry are doing for their clients.

The industry has never had anything akin to an official search award before so the first year needed to create something special and set the bar high, creating a goal for agencies to strive towards in the future.

Google’s Head of Performance Matt Bush who Chaired the judging panel said that Google were keen to work with The Drum Search Awards and the entries did not let them down: “The breadth and diversity of innovation, creativity and fantastic results was inspiring.”

“Search really is an industry on a massive high.”

There were 30 awards in total covering all aspects of the Search industry with 12 devoted to SEO,  12 to PPC and other awards such as a Rising Star Award and Best Integrated Strategy or Campaign Award. Each award was judged by a panel of 17 experts alongside Matt Bush; including Andy Jones, Head of Search at Yahoo and Colm Bracken, Head of Search Advertising for Microsoft UK.

The SEO Works received two nominations, both for the Patient.co.uk campaign. One was in the Best Consumer Products/Services Campaign for SEO and the other in the Best B2C SEO Campaign.

The Awards were held at the Marriott in Grosvenor Square, London and provided a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other agencies from across the country. After being treat to a three course meal and entertainment from comedian/musician Beardyman, the award ceremony got underway with a huge sense of anticipation from all present.

When presenting the award for the Best B2C SEO Campaign The SEO Works were praised for our in-depth research and knowledge of how people genuinely search to raise the visibility of Patient.co.uk to spectacular levels, formulating a successful campaign that has lasted many years and continues to develop.

The SEO Works would like to thank The Drum, Google and all the panel of judges for recognising our successes with Patient and we look forward to working hard throughout the year to return to the Search Awards in 2016.
