Challenge

Twig Education came to us looking to increase online visibility for their EdTech solution. Education is a highly competitive niche, as search engines prioritise authoritative, trustworthy sources of information. With a YMYL (’Your Money or Your Life’) industry such as this, a robust SEO strategy was required to stand out in search results.

Solution

First, we fixed technical issues that were holding the site back, ensuring there were no barriers to growth as we expanded the site’s content. We also migrated blog content to the Twig Science domain, creating more topical authority in the science niche.

In order to reach more educators in the US, we created new pages focusing on individual states. Then, we researched high-opportunity keywords to create blog content that demonstrated expertise, authority and trustworthiness (E-A-T) – a key tactic for a YMYL brand.

Result

Organic users increased by 247% year-on-year and organic clicks by 261%. During the campaign, Twig Science ranked for 330 new keywords on the first page of Google, outranking even .org websites.

As a result, visibility increased and more educators discovered their platform – ultimately inspiring more children to learn about science.
