Challenge

Founded more than 30 years ago, Rab is one of the best known high performance mountain clothing and equipment brands in the UK. Clothing that gives the wearer absolute protection, comfort and freedom. Made By Climbers for Climbers. Rab came to The SEO Works in search of a partner that could help increase their online presence and improve ROI.

Solution

Our focus was centred around improving the performance of their brand exposure, search and shopping campaigns. With the objective of increasing online transaction revenue and their ROAS. We did this by creating campaigns and Ad groups focused on both brand terms and high value products. Working closely with the SEO team we were able to develop relevant audiences from organic interests, allowing us to target customers over Display, Video and Facebook.

We then introduced a smart shopping campaign, for increased performance and ROI. A new shopping campaign type combining shopping and display networks that drove sales across all Google networks. Using this new Google technology allowed us to focus on higher value products, increasing revenue and transactions across a variety of platforms.

Result

A huge increase in online transactions! Over the first 6 months transaction revenue increased by 208.3%, return on ad spend increased to 9:1, and CPA (cost per acquisition) decreased by 23.8%.
